This is the newest and sixth eco-tourism zone that was opened for tourists in December 2014. Dhela Ecotourism zone remains open for tourists throughout the year.
This zone is extremely rich in flora and fauna. The zone spreads over 1,173 hectares, which has mixed forests of Sal, Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, Kusum vegetation, and tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, sloth bears and king cobras
The area is particularly rich in bird diversity. Dhela Zone is the newest zone of the Jim Corbett National Park which is next to the Dhela Village. The entry gate for Dhela FRH is Dhela Gate which is located on the periphery of Dhela Village which is 20kms from Ramnagar, Uttrakhand
The entry Gate for this Zone is the same as the Jhirna zone. Dhela Zone has a very beautiful landscape with a diversity of flora and fauna. Dhela Forest Rest House has a single Forest Rest House which consists of 2 double bedrooms so if you are a peace and privacy lover then this zone is the best zone to stay in. This zone has a large population of sloth bear tigers, king cobras, Asiatic elephants, and monkeys, which can be seen throughout the year, you can also spot some leopards here if you are lucky.
